Alex Harvey, Ellis King, Katy O'Neill and Lubna Sheikh: Shooting the video.

We came to the conclusion that the music video was to be shot in the function room of the pub named Sheepwalk which is widely known for its live music which fit nicely with our idea. We also decided that it would be best to shoot the video during half term as we needed many other people from other schools to include within our video being both main parts and extras and this was when they would all be free.

Our time to film was fairly limited as most people were only around for the two days, so we had to get there and set up around 12 and then leave at around 7 that evening allowing the maximum amount of time to shoot our video. Probably the most challenging part of working with so many other people is keeping everybody on track, only three of us from the group was there during the filming and another eight people was there either being part of the band, crowd or assisting with the technical side of the filming and lighting. My main role during these two days aside from my share in filming was the music side of things which meant arranging instruments and band members with myself playing bass in the band, this meant that like the other band members I had to learn how to play the song which I found considerably hard as it had to be done by ear and not tablature.

It was also surprising to see how many things can potentially go wrong when filming. As a group we encountered many issues such as broken equipment, injuries among the cast and even issues such as the lack of parking areas had a big impact on our filming. Despite all of this, I feel that we managed to do incredibly well when considering the amount of time we had and the issues that affected us, the next step is to review and edit all the footage and put together the final music video.
