Katy Perry ft. Kanye West - E.T
This is one of my favourite music videos as it is so unique and i love the mise en scene. The music video creates an enigma which has a magical feel to it with the artist dressed in an alien costume which incorporates the lyrics and narrative. The music video sticks to the narrative of an alien woman who is in love with another alien man, the artist, Kanye West. This music video has arresting imagery and is highly memorable for me, both conventions of music videos which are important. The colours used in the music video give it an interesting and unusual feel also.
